We are looking for a computer technician to install and maintain our computer systems and networks in order to achieve maximum functionality and optimize the role of technology in the sustainability of our business. Its functions will also include supporting the users of the systems and guaranteeing an adequate and secure performance of our IT infrastructure.

Must have a thorough knowledge of computer programs and equipment and various Internet applications, networks and operating systems (Windows 10). We also hope you have a great problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

The responsibilities of the computer technician are:

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining PC hardware (to support Windows 10)
• Creating images that automate the installation of Windows
• Maintenance of software images to support automated installation of Windows, including patches
• Maintain clear and complete audit records of change: hardware installation, maintenance, software update, image update and more
• Develop and maintain purposeful local networks
• Ensure the security and privacy of Windows 10 networks and hardware
• Solve network and computer problems to identify and solve problems in a timely manner
• Maintain meticulous software and hardware inventories.
• Keep procedures for all things operational – nothing “saved in my head”
• Assist and plan transfer, development and education for new programs and hardware
• Implement and maintain appropriate KPIs and digital desktops to capture pre-capture capture issues before they develop

Educational Requirements

• Degree in computer science, engineering or other relevant area
• Certification will be valued as a computer technician, such as CompTIA A + or Microsoft Certified IT Professional

Experience:

• More than 2 years of experience working as a computer technician or in another relevant place
• Solid experience working with various computer systems and networks
• Deep knowledge of the principles of Internet security and data privacy
• Great ability to diagnose and solve problems
• Great ability to communicate, organize and manage time
• Demonstrable networking and computer troubleshooting experience
• Demonstrable experience with Windows 10 Automated Install
• Experience in automatically installing software packages, such as Chocolatey
• Experience with the Atlas confluence
• Certification or deep knowledge of the principles of security and safety of Internet privacy

• Demonstrable breadth of experience across many hardware configurations

Language skills:

• Full competence in Catalan and Spanish (Native or C2)
• Indispensable level B2 Spoken and written English
